Space Dice electronic components

Of course, you'll need the Space Dice DIY Electronics Kit. 32 pieces:

  • 1 PCB
  • 3 IC chips
  • 3 IC chip sockets
  • 4 switches: 1 tactile, 2 vertical, 1 right-angle
  • 2 electrolytic capacitors
  • 3 ceramic capacitors
  • 1 speaker
  • 6 LEDs
  • 3 resistors
  • 3 potentiometers
  • 1 9v battery snap
  • 1 nut
  • 1 bolt

3D Prints

Space Dice 3D-printed parts

The 3D-printed parts aren't technically required to make your Space Dice, but, of course, it's not nearly as fun without them. 12 pieces:

  • 1 enclosure bottom
  • 1 enclosure top
  • 3 knobs
  • 1 button lever + 1 actuator mount
  • 1 LED display
  • 1 side switch clutch
  • 2 top switch clutches
  • 1 speaker grill battery cover
  • Needle nose pliers
  • PCB vice or “helping hands” holder
  • “Solder sucker” or desoldering braid
  • Multimeter for debugging
  • Oscilloscope for learning
  • Patience, patience, patience
